Our Story
Jaanay and Asiko Will Join As One
Amidst the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic and other uncertainties, Jaanay and Asiko developed a close relationship over the summer. Aware of the inevitable separation that awaited them due to their respective plans, they opted to keep the development of their relationship low-key. Prior to Asikos departure for university in China, Jaanay, expressed her affection to him in a heartfelt love letter. Two years later, upon returning home to Texas, Asiko stumbled upon the long-forgotten letter tucked away in a pocket of his suitcase. This discovery reignited their romance, and this time, fate aligned in their favor, as both their families were leaving Texas for the East Coast. Additionally, Asiko had to head to New York to complete his degree, while Jaanay pursued her career in modeling and academics there as well. The couple subsequently moved in together and on October 30th, they sealed their commitment to one another with an engagement. Despite the challenges they faced, their love story serves as a testament to the power of fate and the persistence of true love.

The bride ask to dress to impress. She also requests NO white attire at the event, except for the bride. The attire is formal wear such as a cocktail-length dress or dressy separates for women. For men, three piece, two piece suit with or without a tie. No jeans.

You are traveling to the beautiful state of Virginia in June; the temperature is mild to hot. The attire is formal, so please dress to impress. Ladies, the bride requests NO white attire at the event, except for bride.

- Family and friends visiting from overseas, your passport CANNOT expire within six months of travel.
